Frequently Asked Questions
I work with women in midlife who feel off in their bodies and want a clear, medically sound plan — not guesswork.
Most are navigating perimenopause or menopause and dealing with symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, sleep issues, mood shifts, or low libido. They are often busy professionals who want thoughtful, personalized care and consistent access to a provider who understands midlife hormone health.
Ignite Health is a cash-pay practice, which allows for more time, personalization, and flexibility in your care. Labs and many medications may still be covered through your insurance. We do not accept insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid for services.
We accept all major credit cards, as well as FSA and HSA cards.
Payments are processed securely through a HIPAA-compliant system.
The Midlife Reset is not a one-size-fits-all hormone plan. Care is personalized to your stage of life, symptoms, and goals, whether you are in perimenopause, menopause, or postmenopause.
Everyone begins with a Midlife Reset consult, which includes:
• A comprehensive symptom and health history review
• Education on hormone changes and evidence-based treatment options
• Lab review when appropriate
• A clear, step-by-step plan tailored to you
Ongoing follow-up visits allow us to adjust treatment thoughtfully and safely over time.
Many of the hormones I prescribe are bioidentical, meaning they are chemically identical to the hormones your body naturally makes.
That said, the term “bioidentical” is often used loosely in marketing, so what matters most is how the hormone is formulated, dosed, and monitored — not just the label.
I use evidence-based, FDA-approved options when possible and may also use compounded formulations when there is a clear clinical reason. The goal is always safety, effectiveness, and personalization — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Medical weight management is one possible component of the Midlife Reset, not a separate starting program.
During the Midlife Reset consultation, we evaluate hormones, metabolism, symptoms, labs, and lifestyle. If weight changes or metabolic resistance are part of what’s contributing to how you feel, medical weight management may be incorporated into your personalized plan.
For some women, hormone optimization alone is the focus.
For others, addressing insulin resistance or metabolic health is essential for progress.
The Midlife Reset ensures weight is addressed in context — not as a standalone issue.
Yes. Telehealth services are available to patients in:
Florida, Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware, and Colorado.
All new patients begin with a Midlife Reset consultation.
This visit is the foundation of care at Ignite Health. It allows us to thoroughly review your symptoms, health history, and goals, and create a clear, medically sound plan — whether your focus is hormone optimization, metabolic health, or ongoing comprehensive care.
From there, we determine together what level of ongoing support makes the most sense for you.
