Kiesha, Katsares, APRN
Ignite Health LLC was founded by Kiesha Katsares, APRN, to provide a different approach to midlife care—one that prioritizes clarity, time, and hormone-informed medicine over rushed visits and one-size-fits-all solutions.
With more than 30 years in healthcare and nearly 20 years as a nurse practitioner, Kiesha recognized a consistent pattern in the women she cared for: persistent symptoms, weight changes, and chronic conditions often rooted in overlooked hormone shifts and metabolic changes during midlife.
Kiesha began her nursing career in 1991 and became a board-certified nurse practitioner in 2005. Her background spans medical intensive care, oncology, neurosurgery, and healthcare insurance—giving her a broad, systems-level understanding of how fragmented traditional care can be.
Kiesha has completed advanced training in obesity medicine through the Obesity Medicine Association and is menopause-specialist trained through the Academy for Advanced Women’s Health Medicine. She is a member of The Menopause Society and the International Society for Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), along with multiple national and state nurse practitioner organizations.

Ignite Health provides personalized, hormone-informed midlife care for women seeking clarity and long-term wellness. Care begins with the Midlife Reset consultation and may include hormone optimization, metabolic and weight support, as well as ongoing primary care when appropriate.
Telehealth visits are available in Florida, Delaware, Colorado, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., with in-person care offered in South Tampa.
Ignite Health is a direct-pay medical practice.
We do not bill insurance for visits, which allows us to spend more time with each patient and provide personalized, transparent care without the constraints of traditional insurance-based models.
Laboratory testing, imaging, and medications may be billed to insurance when possible or offered at transparent cash-pay rates.
At this time, Ignite Health does not participate with Medicare or Medicaid.
