Kiesha, Katsares, APRN
Ignite Health LLC was founded by Kiesha Katsares, Autonomous Nurse Practitioner, to provide a new model of care for busy professionals and women in midlife. After more than 30 years in healthcare—and nearly 20 years as a nurse practitioner—Kiesha recognized a common theme in nearly every patient she cared for: chronic disease and quality-of-life symptoms too often rooted in lifestyle, weight, and overlooked hormone changes.
Kiesha began her nursing career in 1991 and became a board-certified nurse practitioner in 2005. Her experience spans medical intensive care, oncology, neurosurgery, and healthcare insurance, giving her a unique perspective on patient care across many specialties.
Today, Ignite Health focuses on concierge-style, evidence-based solutions in:

Medical weight loss tailored to individual goals and health history
Executive health navigation to simplify a complex healthcare system
Kiesha has completed advanced training in obesity medicine, earning a Certificate of Advanced Education from the Obesity Medicine Association in 2024. She is menopause specialist trained through the Heather Hirsch Academy and a proud member of The Menopause Society, International Society for Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) in addition to multiple national and state nurse practitioner organizations.

Ignite Health specializes in concierge-style care for busy professionals and women in midlife, including hormone therapy, medical weight loss, and health navigation services. Care is available by telehealth in Florida, Delaware, Colorado, Maryland, and Washington D.C. or in our South Tampa office.
Ignite Health is a direct-pay practice. This means we do not bill insurance, allowing us to spend more time with each patient and provide personalized, transparent care. Lab tests, medications and imaging services can be billed to your insurance when possible or offered a discounted cash pay option. Please note, we do not accept patients with Medicare or Medicaid at this time.
Concierge care provides you with direct access to your provider without the barriers of traditional healthcare. You’ll have longer visits, faster response times, and personalized health plans designed to address your specific needs.
