Igniting Your Health Journey

Ignite Health LLC was founded by Kiesha Katsares, Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in 2024. As an autonomous adult nurse practitioner, I provide direct primary care and medical weight loss services via telemedicine. With over 30 years of healthcare experience, I noticed one common theme among my patients with chronic disease, obesity. Having worked in medical intensive care units, private practice, oncology, neurosurgery and healthcare insurance, I realized that most chronic diseases were a direct result of our lifestyle and nutrition.

My patients were living with multiple chronic diseases such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease and chronic pain resulting in polypharmacy (use of multiple medications). The majority of these patients were overweight. In fact, over 70% of deaths and morbidity are largely lifestyle related and preventable. I realized that our healthcare system is more focused on treating disease than preventing disease. I also understand that losing weight is not an easy task. Depression and emotional connections to food make weight loss even more difficult. My mission is to ignite the journey towards a healthier you by jumpstarting your weight loss goals, obtaining and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, thus reversing chronic disease, mortality and polypharmacy.
